I'm proud that many of these folks can now set examples for their kids. The BodyBYVi challenge is a great place to commit to a new body!
Trying to teach kids to eat healthy in a world where they are bombarded with commercials of chips and super sized hamburger meals is hard. I believe in the 80/20 rule or maybe 85/15 and I defintely believe in education and exercise as part of a lifestyle!

Our food pyramid is wrong too. Really, we do need more protein then carbs in our diet. From a scientific standpoint too, all of our cells (cells make up organs, skin, hair, nails, even in our blood, its everything) are made up of proteins...our DNA is made up of nucleic acids... We need protein, not breads and pastas.

People and kids dont know how to eat correctly and instead of teaching kids how to eat correctly, kids see TV commercials.
