I thought I would post this update from yesterday. We have an awesome God!
John 11:40 (New American Standard Bible)
40 Jesus said to her, 'Did I not say to you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?'
What an amazing day today! It was so full of beautiful changes! Full of His grace & glory!
First, as I said before, Michael had some break thru prayer this morning around 8 AM. Then we saw Nick at 10 AM. He seemed more alert. His eyes looked even more like him. The
12 PM visit was going really good & then we heard the word of knowledge from Terry the host of the 700 Club show. We both gasped at her words & claimed another confirmation for the total healing of Nick. We came back at 2 PM. Things went from pretty darn good to a MIRACLE! They had taken out his bolt & the nurse said he yelled a word they were surprised to hear very loud from the pain. ( a Marine word- not G rated) The staff all laughed from shock & surprise.
We told Nick that thousands of people around the WORLD were praying for him. He said, 'Oh my God!' We cried! We told him he was 2nd in his class at 29 Palms & won the Warrior Award- he began to cry! We were crying too. We had an exotic car magazine & we were holding the magazine together. I said ,'look at the car Nick'. Michael saw he was looking at the pretty girl on the opposite page. We both said, 'Ah, he's looking at the pretty girl' outloud.
He smiled really big. We again cried! We told him a good friend had offered to help with our plane tickets home he said, 'Neat'... crying some more! I said we had to go because visiting hours were over, he said, 'Why?'... Couldn't leave! Cried More! Explained again & he said 'Ok'... Mama & Daddy still crying...
We prayed for his total recovery! He is on the road & quickly! To see how far away he was & to see
him smile is nothing less than another MIRACLE!

His therapists are happy with his progress

Brain continues to repair fully
Brain gets the messages where they need to go
Lungs free from infection & excess mucus
Limbs continue to strengthen
No blood clots
Able to eat solid food with a strong swallow
Extra oxygen pumped in the nose unnecessary (get those annoying tubes out!)
Things to do to keep this bored Marine busy... He is so wiggley!
People! Be encouraged! God answers 'Knee-Mail'! Praise God forever more!
The staff working with Nick at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center are GREAT! We are really falling in love with some of them. The are so upbeat & caring. Our nurse today was Elizabeth. She was terrific. Kept helping Nick get more comfortable & kept listening to him when he began to say something.
Today was one of those days you just can't keep from smiling REALLY big or crying all your makeup off. Yes, that good!
) We just kept saying 'God is so good'! Over & Over!
