Preferred candidate – a writer who loves poetry and has good skills in Word and Excel and in research on the web. Fee: $12 per hour. Project is to assist in organizing a mailing of sets of poems to be submitted to some 50 poetry journals. Do the work in your own home.

Scope of Work:
• Enter data into Excel on each poetry journal, which you draw from Poet’s Market (a reference book to be supplied to you). Data will include editor’s name, address, submission requirements, etc. Supplement data as needed by visiting website of each journal.
• Create a Word file containing a standardized cover letter (wording to be supplied to you) for each journal submission
• Type and print out 1) submission envelope addresses for each letter and 2) self-addressed envelope for return of poem samples from the journals. (Envelopes to be supplied to you).

Time Frame:
Fit this project into your own work flow as you please. Looking for completion by week of Feb. 21. Possible ongoing work if your initial work is good. Would consist of researching on-line poetry journals, doing additional mailings, and other related work.
