Is there a current TV show that makes your week better? Do you frequently dig through TV news sites seeking new information about that show? Do you rush online to discuss an episode with friends and forums after it airs?

If so, then we're looking for you!

We are a new television commentary blog looking for freelance writers to cover specific shows by writing weekly recaps and providing commentary on show-related news. At the moment, we need writers to cover the following shows:

-American Idol
-Chuck
-Dancing with the Stars
-Desperate Housewives
-Fringe
-Glee
-Gossip Girl
-Grey's Anatomy
-90210
-The Office
-30 Rock
-The Vampire Diaries

Each writer covers one or two shows as a beat. Writers are expected to submit a weekly recap within 12 hours of a new episode, in addition to posting their take on show-related news events as they occur.

This will only require a commitment of 3-5 hours per week, including viewing time. All work can be done from home and on your own time so long as you stay on top of any major news (casting announcements, time slot changes, etc.) related to the show.

The position will start out as UNPAID, but it's a chance for aspiring entertainment writers to build their bylines and clips portfolios while writing about something they enjoy.
