Hi Girls!

I just wanted to let you all know that I started reading a few pages a night out of my husband's old childrens bible to my 18 month old. She seems to enjoy it and even though she can't really grasp much of the story, I still think it's a good thing to do for her. What do you think?

I think it's a great idea. My husband and I went to the local Christian bookstore and bought a couple of activity books for preschoolers that has stories of Bible characters.

We've been doing the lessons with my daughter who just turned 3 for about a year now. She really enjoys them and was even able to memorize a short memory verse recently.

That's fabulous! It's never too early to plant seeds.

The Toddler's Bible http://www.amazon.com/Toddlers-Bible-V- ... 0896930777 is very good and so is The Preschooler's Bible http://www.amazon.com/Preschoolers-Bibl ... 156476317X
They are pretty similar - I suggest you just get one or the other, not both of them.
Those are both great for little ones.
Then the My Little Bible series is good for preschoolers http://www.amazon.com/My-Little-Bible-S ... 0849908248
and there are other good bible story books available too.
I think it is great to read to children and to read the Bible to them from a young age as well.

I have a 10-month old and I would love to begin reading children's bible stories to him now.
