When your company changes over to a new catalog...

Do you send all of your past customers a new catalog automatically or do you send out a email or postcard mailing letting them know new catalogs are out and they can request one from you if they are interested?

How do you handle it when you switch over to a new catalog?

I saw something very interesting while at a fair....most of the DS companies are now selling their catalogs (between .35-.65); what a great idea!

If you have a customer that has been loyal, than yes, send them a catalog. But I also like your idea about handwriting a note/postcard about the new catalog; either direct them to your website or they can request a catalog by contacting you!

We don't at Affordable Mineral Makeup since:
1) we're eco friendly so don't send anything other than product
2) I had tons of new stuff monthly so nobody'd ever have a 'current' catalog! LOL

I have never charged a customer for a catalog and I would be turned off if I had to pay for them from other DS people.
