Aside from prayer, encouraging words and working through hurt and anger, I have found that proper nutrition and exercise can also really help with managing emotions. In today's day and age, our diets are so very poor. Even when we think we may be eating healthy, like when we have grilled chicken and salad for example, the chicken may be pumped with hormones and the salad may contain pesticides. This may seem like a healthful meal and perhaps, it is better than eating a hamburger and fries, but it's still not the best for our bodies. Exercise is also good because it helps release the happy chemical known as endorphins.
Since I began exercising, incorporating more organic foods into my diet and taking vitamin supplements, I have noticed a world of difference in my emotions. I now feel more emotionally stable, positive and full of life despite the challenges that life throws at me.
